Kim Kardashian Shares Kanye West’s Plans for 2020 Presidential Campaign & Naming Her Son

Kim Kardashian and Ellen DeGeneres chatted with each other and Mrs. West spilled details on her hubby’s future presidential campaign and about Baby Boy West, starting off with the surprise of the news of him running for president.

“That was news to me,” she said, explaining that it “wasn’t a discussion in our household.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said, “I believe he is serious and I know that if he puts his mind to something he’ll do his best. And he will. It’s been fascinating just hearing all of the conversations that have gone on since that announcement. I don’t know if that was planned and I just didn’t know about it or if he came up with that idea right then and there…That was a fun night and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”

“That’s a big thing to not talk to your wife about, but I think that would be so much fun to be in the White House,” the E! star said. “I was joking with him. I was like, ‘You’re going to have to make it to a second term,’ because he loves redecorating. I was like, ‘You’re going to want to redo the whole White House and we’re not going to be able to enjoy it. So we’re going to have to just go with the flow.'”

Aside from the future presidential campaign, The Wests are focused on Baby #2.

The mom-to-be said she and her husband “haven’t decided on name,” so Ellen offered a few funny suggestions. When “East West” was mentioned, Kim said, “I do like the name Easton. Easton West. I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it. I don’t think we’ll go another direction. It’s definitely not South. Every time someone says ‘South’ I just want to roll my eyes. It’s not a good direction.”
