Dwayne Johnson stands by the blunt words he said about some of the actors he worked with on Fast 8.
The 44-year-old caused quite the controversy in August when he said some of his “male co-workers” on Fast 8 do not “conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals” and “are too chicken s–t to do anything about it anyway,” adding, “Candy a-ses.”
Johnson, who stars in the 2017 movie along side Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and Scott Eastwood, did not name names in his rant.
“I was very clear with what I said. I’ve been in the game a long time,” Johnson told The Los Angeles Times in an interview posted Saturday.
The Fast & Furious movie franchise remains one of the most successful. The most recently released film, Furious 7, has made more than $1.5 billion worldwide since its April 2015 release. All seven movies have made more than $3.8 billion total.
